Toxic tech (and how to manage it)

Let’s face it, we’ve all been sucked into a social media black hole.

Keeping up with multiple platforms is a daunting task. Planning, posting and responding can feel like a full-time job.

But like anything, screen time should be done in moderation. TIPS

  • Choose one primary social channel

  • Reduce clutter and delete apps off your phone that haven’t been used in over a month

  • Use a “Would I call them on the phone?” policy when determining who has access to your personal content

  • Be deliberate with who you follow - how does this account make me feel?

  • Turn off notifications

  • Don’t check your notifications as soon as you wake up - you’ll feel behind-the-eight-ball before you even start your day
